Alpaca therapy

Our alpacas are not only gentle hiking companions but also wonderful therapists on four legs.
Through their calm and friendly nature, they help reduce stress, improve concentration, and strengthen social skills. Especially children with ADHD, autism, or other needs benefit from the relaxed interaction with our animals.

Animal therapists

With their calm presence, alpacas have a soothing effect on both body and mind. Children with ADHD or autism especially benefit from the stress-free interaction with our animals.

Whether on walks or through targeted animal-assisted interventions, our alpacas build trust, support emotional development, and provide moments of inner balance.

Nature and relaxation

Our therapy services.

In animal-assisted therapy with children, the alpaca is integrated as a supportive part of the therapeutic process. The goal is to promote the emotional, social, and psychological well-being of the children.
Here are some typical elements of this therapy:

Strengthening social skills and self-esteem

Through interacting with alpacas, children develop a sense of responsibility, empathy, and experience positive social interactions that boost their self-confidence.

Relaxation and holistic support

Alpacas have a calming effect, reduce stress, and playfully support the children’s motor and cognitive development.

Trust and emotional development

The calm, non-judgmental nature of the animals helps children build trust and overcome emotional barriers—especially when feelings are difficult to put into words.

Our animal-assisted therapy sessions are individually tailored and supervised by Karin, a trained specialist in animal-assisted interventions.

Certified alpaca therapist
with heart
and intuition.

My name is Karin – and my passion lies in the compassionate support of children and adolescents through my alpacas. After completing my training as a certified alpaca therapist, I experienced the healing power that lies in the encounter between humans and animals. Alpacas touch us in a quiet yet profound way – they accept us as we are and help to reduce fears, build trust, and dissolve emotional blockages.

With great patience, mindfulness, and appreciation, I create a safe space where young people can feel secure—far from performance pressure and everyday stress. In my work, I combine therapeutic knowledge with the special effect of my animals. For me, the person is always at the center—with all their facets, needs, and possibilities.

I look forward to accompanying each person on their journey—and, together with my alpacas, creating positive experiences that resonate long afterward.
